Do Not Sell
Do Not Sell or Share My Info
Last updated: 2026-07-24
Under the CCPA/CPRA and equivalent US state statutes you may direct a business to stop selling or sharing your personal information for targeted advertising. Here is what that means on this site, and how to do it.
Once You Have Opted Out
The effect is on targeting, not on volume. Ads may still appear, chosen without reference to your browsing. The rest of steadytoddler.com works exactly as before — opting out never costs you access, features, or content.
How This Applies to Us
- What actually happens: no data is sold for money, but where advertising is served on steadytoddler.com, advertising partners may receive cookie or device identifiers. State privacy laws define ‘sale’ and ‘sharing’ broadly enough that this may be caught, so we offer an opt-out rather than take a narrow view.
- It applies site-wide, to casual visitors and regular readers alike.
Registering Your Choice
You can opt out by enabling a Global Privacy Control signal in your browser, which this site honours automatically without any message from you; by declining advertising cookies in the consent banner where it appears; or by emailing hello@steadytoddler.com under the subject ‘Do Not Sell or Share’. None of these routes requires you to register.
Other state-law rights are described in the State Privacy Notice.
